Bright flames cause swirls of smoke signals, this painting is an interpretation of the rapid spinning world and abundant changes around us at all times. Particularly for me during the time I created this painting that was my inspiration.
I was starting to re-explore my artistic side and question the distribution of time allocated to my art. The struggles within my inner-self are evident in the sharp brush strokes and fire-colored smoke signals. The smoke signals are almost a shout-out to the world, not in an SOS type of way however a declaration… I am here type of way!
The connection between the moment of creation in which the large circular paint strokes evoked a freedom that symbolized a return to my natural born passion, evolving yet again in this thing we call life. The bold blending of colors morphed to become a striking reflection of my soul at that time.
