Circles of Love

This painting was commissioned by a loving boyfriend months before he proposed to his girlfriend. I was excited to be a part of this special gift and even more to know that the assignment was for me to create whatever I desired to symbolize their love and happiness.
Circles are very important symbols for me, similar to the infinity symbol in my mind; their circular movement symbolizes ongoing strength, love and flexibility.
The depth of the circles is meant to symbolize the depth of feelings you develop when time progresses in a relationship.
To signify the happiness in their relationship, I selected bright colors and kept them true to their state with limited blending. The colors represent the couple’s past, present and future love.
