This painting is a reflection of my soul singing loudly! The only way to set onself free is to ride the wave the Universe’s put’s in our path. You can choose to sink, swim, surf or glide. This painting is indicative of my past and also confirms who I am today: August 25, 2013.
The initial sketch that inspired this painting is a sketch of a woman. As the painting began to take on its own life, the colorful layers and rhythmical strokes were mesmerizing. The thoughts that kept creeping into my head were of the “simple care-free years” of my childhood. As life ebb’s and flows it one encounters various emotions along the way
Evolución 4.0 is a series of paintings based on a retrospective of the artist’s life and those who have influenced her, along with a foreshadowing of her life in the future, and whom from her past she may meet again. Each of the paintings in this series will represent a self-portrait of the woman she has been or will become.
