The awe-inspiring sunsets of South Africa leave you wanting more. I had no idea the beauty I was about to capture through the lens of the camera as I took photos of the sun-setting at the end of our evening game drive. This was one of my favorite moments… when the wine was poured and we toasted to another wonderful adventure full day being one with nature.
The magnificent purple, peach and pink toned sunset of Sabi Sands and our safari’s mystique. The captivating colors made it easy to bond with nature whose hypnotizing sunset while releasing the sun’s final energy bolts of the day left one in awe. The simple reflection in the watering hole showcases the subconscious beauty of our universe. I had no idea I was capturing the reflection in the first photo.
The tranquility, serenity and peacefulness that appear in this scene camouflage the reality of: poachers, poverty, and racism that exist in and out of the BUSH.
Being surrounded by nature 24/7, I felt at peace as well as feeling the strongest energetic connection with the existence around me. This painting was my attempt at capturing the raw beauty experienced that majestic day that will never be duplicated. In the “BUSH” it’s always a mystery knowing what you may bump into next.
